Joint Investor Outreach Event
Should climate change impact reporting?
What is the new accounting for insurance: investor/analyst focus?
22 ottobre 2019 • 10:00-18:00
Sala Convegni Intesa Sanpaolo • Piazza Belgioioso, 1 • Milano
After previous successful events, EFRAG, EFFAS, OIC and AIAF, in collaboration with Mazars, are very pleased to invite you to the 2019 joint investors and analysts outreach event. This year’s event will address two topics that are important to investors and financial analysts: the impact of climate change on reporting and the expected impacts of IFRS 17 on Insurers.
The morning sessions will consider issues related to climate related reporting and the need for sustainable finance. These are becoming increasingly important for users of company reports in areas such as: non-financial information, the impact of credit risks on ratings, value creation assessment and the valuation of equity for long term investments.
The afternoon sessions will discuss the proposed amendments to IFRS 17 and the expected impact of the amended IFRS 17 on the reports of insurers and the changes in Insurers financial communication? What are the impacts on financial indicators?
The event will include speakers from EFRAG, EFFAS, OIC and AIAF as well as topic specialists. It is primarily directed at investors and analysts. There is a limited number of places for “non-users”. There is no charge to participants and the language of the event will be English. A detailed invitation and programme will be issued in next weeks.
